2024 has been an incredible year for Youth Alive as we continue to outwork our mission of reaching young people, raising leaders and resourcing the local church. Tens of thousands of young people have heard the message of Jesus through Youth Alive activities, with thousands making a decision to follow Him.
Youth Alive has partnered with hundreds of local youth ministries to see leaders trained through Youth Alive Academy and resourced via the Youth Alive network with leadership events and coaching, as we champion local youth pastors and leaders around the nation to continue to take steps of faith in reaching more young people for Jesus.

Since 1982 Youth Alive has seen 342,927 young people
make faith commitments throughout Australia.
Youth Alive continues to be a grassroots movement that raises leaders in the regions to reach young people in the regions.
As part of our commitment to regional Australia we have recently engaged Dan Russell as our National Regional Coordinator.
Going forward, Dan will be working alongside our current regional teams to strengthen outcomes and reach more young people in these spaces than ever before.

Recent ABS data suggests that 36% of Australians reside in regional areas. The commitment of Youth Alive towards regional Australia can be seen through the attendance of events across the nation - 47.5% of event attendance was in regional areas.

One of our key mandates is resourcing local youth ministries. We achieve this through leadership training and development events that serve to equip, inspire and grow young leaders.

Volunteers are the heartbeat of Youth Alive Australia, contributing an estimated 25,981 hours nationwide to impact the next generation with the Gospel.
We spent a collective 5,834 hours in prayer throughout 2024.

Youth Alive Academy provides a training pathway for young leaders to gain a certification through an Accredited course delivered by Alphacrucis College, while gaining practical training from our Youth Alive Academy team.
We constantly aim to provide engaging ways for our students to get the most out of their year. The most unique thing about the Youth Alive Leadership Academy, is the vast range of experiences on offer. From being behind the scenes during Youth Alive events, to a spiritual intensive in the most beautiful location and back to the classroom, our pace offers so much variety.
Even when in the classroom, our various teaching methods keep students engaged. Our guests are experts in their field, whether it be on theology, leadership or learning about current youth issues.
Youth Alive Academy has seen 866 students trained since 2014 across Australia. In 2024, Academy expanded with new locations, including the first-ever Tasmania location.
2024 marked 10 years of Youth Alive Academy, celebrating a passrate above the national average of other ministry training programs and the addition of a new study stream, the School of Worship.

The Youth Ministry Evangelism Fund is a new resource through Youth Alive to help fund Local Youth Ministry in evangelism endeavours and initiatives.

Summer Bash
Supported a Youth Ministry running a summer themed outreach event. Saw 44 young people make faith commitments.

Dreamers Festival
1,050 attended a two-day festival outreach that saw young people connect and encounter God, with 400 making faith commitments.

Groundswell
Schools tour mid-week at 6 schools, with 30 faith commitments. 300 attended Groundswell on Saturday night at a public high school that saw 70 faith commitments.

Hilltop WKND
1,230 young people gathered for a weekend of encountering God and raise awareness of mental health support services available. 250 students made faith commitments.

Festival
A festival run by a local youth ministry. Hosted a schools tour in 3 schools with a guest artist. Ran an outreach night, with a follow up "festival" the week after designed to retain youth. Saw 23 young people make faith commitments.
TO NEW BELIEVERS DURING 2024
This year across the nation,
Bible Society Australia has seen 20,000 'Read This' Bibles distributed predominantly to new believers.
In partnership with Bible Society Australia, we have developed the 'Read this.' Bible specifically for Australian teenagers. These are available for purchase to use within your youth ministry in boxes of 20 for $200 ($10 per Bible).
Youth Alive is committed to seeing young people explore their faith further through partnering with local youth ministries and Alpha Youth.
Young people connected to Alpha Youth through Regional Events, Large-Scale Event Follow-Ups and Evangelism Fund Projects in 2024.
